SSEMTA Directory

This is the third directory of Supplementary Schools and Mother Tongue Classes that we have produced.

We rely on information we receive from projects about their services and in 2008 carried out survey of the groups believed to be operating inviting them to confirm their details.

This directory is based on a 50% response rate to the various methods we used to gather information on the service being provided within the community. The level of response is typical of that reported by other second tier organisations in the voluntary and community sector engaged in compiling their own directories.

The information in this directory is therefore based on information provided in replies received by February 2009 directly from supplementary and mother tongue education projects themselves. It also reflects information from Southwark Children's Services about the groups funded in their 2008/09 Out of School Hours Study Support programme.

If your project is not included in this Directory or if you are starting a new project and would like to be included in later copies of this Directory please let us have the details of the classes you offer and the days you operate as well as the location and contact telephone number.

If your project has closed or is closing or changing location please let us know so that future copies of the directory can be updated as necessary.
